10¼"/12¼" gauge
0-6-0 locomotive and train at Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, UK. This railway is actually in 12¼" gauge which is becoming a popular gauge due to its greater stability.

15" gauge
Bo-Bo diesel locomotive which incorporated a high degree of sophistication. This was supplied with rolling stock to a private estate railway.

This 0-4-0 diesel hydraulic design, here seen at the Alford Valley Railway, is a good solid passenger hauling locomotive.
